plang: This certainly appears to be a duplicate of the game Yudovich-Belavenets 1937.

perfidious: Three extra moves are given in the 1937 encounter, but White was quite lost either way; 365chess has five games between these opponents, but no wins for Belavenets.

Actually 27...♖8b4 was a mistake (27...Nxb1) that gave White an unexpected chance: 28.Re1! Nxb1 29.Re8+ Kg7 30.Bf8+ Kf6 31.Be7+! Ke5 32 d6!

and Black has to give Rook for the d-pawn.
The line given in the <Chess Family Belavenets> continues 32...Nd2+ 33. Ke2 Rxg4 34. d7 Re4+ 35. Kxd2 Kf5 36. d8=Q Rd4+ 37. Ke2 Rxd8 38. Rxd8, and it is not clear if black can convert the extra pawn.

What irritates me that it is not clear to whom this comment should be attributed to, but it smells of Stockfish. The introduction says "Of cource all the lines has been checked with the computer, and corrections are added where needed ...<we have not highlighted additional corrections made for 2024 edition>." I understand that pointing out computer corrections can affect readability, but in a work like this, I want to see what the annotator actually wrote (Here L. Belavenets based on notes by S. Belavenets ), and not what she would have written with access to the latest computer analysis.
