Dec-11-13  Sebastian88: Philidor could win this game, if he played 23 .. exd4!! White have not a good answer for this move. For example: a)24.Nh2 dxc3! 25.Bxg6 Rxe1+ 26.Rxe1 cxd2+ with a strong attack. b)24.Rxe8+? Rxe8 25.Nh2 Qd3! with a winning attack.
May-15-16  Smothered Mate: According to the Lomonosov tablebases, after 74. Nxf2 Kxc3 :

Nd1+! mates in 18, Nh3 mates in 23, and no other moves win.

.

(Brief engine analysis agrees with that conclusion.)

The idea is, if black's king goes down, then Kb4 with king and knight both attacking c3, and if Kxd1 then Kc3 holds the center forever and the a pawn promotes. If Kxd4, then Kb4 anyway holds the center 1 tempo longer than it needs to.
