Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-01-09  bricksy: The game shows how to defend against what seems to be a bind on e5. Very good defensive play by So. Malakhov had more space but could really not exploit So's weakness on c6.
Dec-01-09  sulotas: Why is it the case that the game is dated as 'November 30th' on the score-sheet? Wasn't it played on December 1st - which is today? (Also, the same problem seems to be valid for the other World Cup games played today -like Caruana-Gashimov). Anything special about the calendar for Khanty-Mansisky?
Dec-01-09  dr.kar: 6.c5 althought used is a positional mistake here. 6.cxd5 or6.Be2 and better 6.b3 gives some advantage from now!
Dec-01-09  khulakeg: malakhov can never get his king to the queenside...
