Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-02-12  qqdos: There is a full analysis of this game in the recent <Jon Edwards> book (2011) Sacking the Citadel - dedicated to Bxh7+! (sometimes ?). Edwards considers that White erred (i) with 29.Nh4 - both 29.Ng5 or 29.Bd2 would be better; and (ii) with 34.fxe3? He advocates a queen sac by 34.Rxc7! Bxf3 35.gxf3 Bf8 36.Rb7 Rg6 37.Rxe3 Rxg3+ 38.fxg3, leaving Black with an immobilized Queen to be harried by White's pair of active Rooks. If Black tries 35...Rg6 a move earlier, this fails to 36.Rxa7 Rxg3+ 37.fxg3 Nc4 38.Ra8!
