It's fun to get caried away! Especially by a player with so much potential, nice old-fashioned take-it-to-'em style, breath some new life into classical chess.

I also think the Chinese lad Ding Liren is a comer.

Very sweet game, this one.

Nov-23-09  spawn2: Definitely, GM Wes is one of the future of Chess. Look at the way he throws everything including the kitchen sink at Gadir's direction. Such exciting chess will always be good to promote the game..

HeMateMe: This wasn't just a so-so-game! Nice how he pushed the kingside pawns to fix whites rooks on bad, defensive squares.
Nov-24-09  kingfu: I think white could have done better with 14 Nc6+. That would have gained the bishop pair for white!
Nov-28-09  johnde: Proud to be Pinoy!!!

Nice one again Wesley!

Congrats.

Dec-03-09  kingfu: My bad. I thought Wesley was Chinese because of his last name. He is Pilipino and King of the Pinoy! I will punish myself with an extra helping of lumpia!
