bright1: Why does Black resign? What is wrong with 18. ... Qxg5 ?

Could be a notation error. 18.N5h4 does trap the queen (18...Qh5 19.g4, or 18...Qe6 19.d5).

Oct-26-09  Manic: Perhaps the move was 18.N5h4 instead. There the Q's only square is e6, when d5 wins the knight.

Phony Benoni: <Manic>, Who cares about the knight? After 18.N5h4 Qe6 19.d5, where does Black's queen go?
Oct-27-09  Manic: <Phony Benoni> Good point =D. Wonder how I missed that. I would've got a pleasant surprise if I was white there.
