Dec-29-09  YoungEd: Why did White resign here? (Or did he?) He is clearly worse but doesn't look lost yet. Couldn't White either retreat the ♘ to f3 or swap down on c6 and hold on for a while?
Dec-29-09  Justawoodpusher: The game is probably incomplete. Computer analysis shows no win for black in this position.
Dec-29-12  GlennOliver: "Justawoodpusher: The game is probably incomplete."

It may be, but all other sites which I can find which list this game give the same 15 moves each.

I agree with YoungEd that Black stands slightly better, but there is no obvious reason for a White resignation at this point.

Phony Benoni: What often happens in a situation like this is that the first 15 moves were published somewhere, perhaps as part of a book on the openings. Somebody then mistakenly copied the partial score into a database as a full game, and everyone else just copied it without checking.
