fredthebear: Black lacks mobility and has weak pawns. It looks like White will connect his rooks on the half-open f-file to wipe out the backward f7-pawn and "go to town" from there. White plays the simple Qb4 threatening to win the loose a-pawn. Black can exchange queens, but that removes a defender of the f7-pawn. If both Black rooks try to line-up across the 7th rank, they become cramped and vulnerable to attack by the advancing g-pawn or Ba3. White simply has the more active position w/penetration chances.
