  fredthebear: FTB can't imagine a better Black response to 3.Bd3? It goes to show that four-step castling is no panacea. Also note that both colors have set bishop pins against the opposing king with completely different results. This game is more proof of FTB's adage to students that it's difficult to win without moving both center pawns.

  sea7kenp: Third move? Bb5 = Spanish, Bc4 = Italian, but Bd3 = Dubious! (Main reason: As the Game itself shows, it's not a good idea to block a Key Center Pawn with your Bishop).
