Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-03-10  Atking: Typical of GM's win vs a strong 2350. Almost effortless, looking at the pawn structure and the ending. Maybe 6.h3 BxN (6...dxe 7.hxB exN 8.g5) 7.gxB (7.QxB!? dxe 8.Nxe NxN 9.QxN c6) 7...c6 8.Be3 in time for Qd2 and Rg1 (Respectively to counter Qb6 and Nh5 ~Bh6) Now in spite that all pawns are still there I think Bf1 will be stronger than a black Knight. White's plan is quite clear : Qd2-0-0-0-h4-Bh3-f5.
Jun-08-11  parisattack: Very interesting way to play the Pirc.
Jun-08-11  Gilmoy: That Pirc became a Grünfeld, and then an oddball Winawer/Nimzo, but with Black keeping the DSB. White threw away two pawns for complications, Black chose when to return them, and the DSB becomes a sliver under a toenail.

White's R can (barely) stop the h-pawn, but Black has Rg6, and White's ripe apples collapse.
