Dec-21-08  luzhin: Bu would have been blown away if he had accepted the piece offered by Ivanchuk's 13.f3! After 13...Nxc4 14.fxe4 cxd5 15.Nxg7! Kxg7 16.Bxf6+ Qxf6 17.Rxf6 Kxf6 18.b3 Whitev traps either the Knight or the Bishop, with a winning position.
Dec-21-08  Warheart: Very cool 13.f3!

<13. f3!! A great move in the style of the old masters. 13... h6 13... Nxc4 14. fxe4 (threatening 15.Nxg7) is too dangerous for Black.>

Dec-22-08  notyetagm: This game is very nicely annotated by IM Monokroussis here: http://chessmind.powerblogs.com/fil....
Dec-25-08  acirce: Nice to see Chucky at least finish with a win.
