Jun-26-09  ToTheDeath: Does anyone know who composed this? It's quite brilliant, actually.
Jun-28-09  avidfan: Black delivers a pure mate in 27 after taking his king for a long walk to a2 and giving up all his pieces except the 2 bishops and 6 pawns.

It's R Steel vs NN, 1886 with reversed colours and an extra move 3.g3. (Incidentally, Steel-NN isn't a real game either, but analysis of another Steel game.)

Jun-28-09  ToTheDeath: <SwitchingQuylthulg:> thanks!
Apr-07-11  sevenseaman: What jugglery! A pure mate!

This needs decoding. Any video analysis of the game?
