Ron: Perhaps Shredder went into an opening line which is not that great for White: Games Like Shredder vs HIARCS, 2008

According to this database, after Black's 11th move, the score is 0 White wins, 4 Draws, and 3 Black wins.

Amazing tactics by HIARCS staring on move 25 with the sacrifice of the rook--and by end of move 31 HIARCS winds up with a pawn advantage and will soon get more material. This would be later in the week puzzle difficulty.

Aug-11-08  patzer2: Hiracs 25...Rxe3! sets up a winning pin and double attack combination.
Aug-11-08  Jason Frost: 25...Rxe3! dossen't look like that difficult of a move for a comp to find. Wonder what Shredder was thinking here, maybe it is already lost.

51...Ra2!! is nice, winning in style
