GrahamClayton: Is this game one of the 20 games that Lasker played at the Manhattan Chess Club in July 1939?

MissScarlett: The <BDE> of July 13th, 1939, gives the names of the ten players who drew games with Lasker at the Manhattan CC simul. Alexander isn't one of them.

MissScarlett: The only other Lasker simul fitting the bill that I can find reference to is one that he was due to play on August 25th at Colgate Univerity, in Hamilton, NY, during the annual championship of the New York State Chess Association.
Mar-05-17  Paarhufer: Whyld has this game with the following information: played 1939 in a simul at the Boston City Club; source is Alexander's original game-score, and the game was adjudicated by John Barry.

MissScarlett: Any other details of this simul? Whilst you're at it, does Whyld have Lasker vs R Zitzmann, 1938?
Mar-06-17  Paarhufer: 2x no.
