Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-04-08  Nezhmetdinov: The rook makes five moves of the first twenty in order to give itself up. Reminds me of the "magic rook" in this game by his namesake: Petrosian vs Taimanov, 1955

fredthebear: Creative play by Petrosian! The rambling rook sacrifice seems strange, but very effective. Black resigns a few moves later.

In the final position, Black must get out of check, then it's 29.QxBe7#.
