Jan-26-08  Davolni: NO WAY!!!!

this is getting suspecious!!! In 3rd round She beat Tigran L Petrosian & 4th Varuzhan Akobian!!!!

Something wrong with Armenian GM's!!!

Jan-28-08  Davolni: can somebody explaing the point of 38. Kh4?? and why white lost the game at all???
Jan-28-08  Wild Bill: <Davoli>

In answer to your first question, <38.Kh4> gets the White King out of the same line as his Queen. A better alternative at this point was to resign.

As for your second question, <22.Qe5?> gets the Bozo Award. <22.Qe7 Rg6 23.Qxd8+ Rxd8 24.g3 24.Nf3+ 25.Kf1 Nxe1 26.Rxe1 Bxa2 27.Ra1> appears to be OK for both sides. After <22.Qe5?> Black had only one good move (<22...Bxg2!>) and she found it.

Jan-29-08  Karpova: <<Misha Savinov: Of the female chessplayers, who do you think should be in Hollywood movies?

TP: Chess is not very suitable for ladies as a competitive activity, so I would send them all to Hollywood (laughs)!>

Jan-29-08  hitman84: And all the Hollywood actresses should take up chess!
