  whiteshark: The tactical <37.Nxd6 <>> failed. More resistance against black's pawn push in the center could organised with <37.Re3 f2> (37...Qxe3 Qxd6+ Kd8 Qb8+ is perpetual check) <38.Rf3>.
Jan-26-08  jahhaj: Short was worse for most of this game, sometimes much worse, but Smeets blew it at the end. God must be an Englishman after all.

Why not 11.d5 or 12.d5? Seems an obvious way to open up the centre.
