Jan-22-08  suenteus po 147: Maybe Radjabov is genuinely pursuing the Schliemann as a legitimate defense. When he used it before at the World Cup I thought he was just being cocky, but maybe he sees something in it that he hasn't managed to materialize yet?
Jan-22-08  Shams: Polgar might have tried the sac line 4.d4 dxe4 5.♘xe5 ♘xe5 6.dxe5 c6 7.♘c3 (moving the bishop drops the e-pawn to ...♕a5+) cxb5 8.♘xe4 d5 9.exd6 e.p. with a very sharp position.
Jan-22-08  percyblakeney: Lately the Schliemann has been what Radjabov plays against the Ruy Lopez, but it may be better to save it for shorter time controls like in Amber:

FSR: <suenteus po 147> Say what? In Radjabov's hands, the Schliemann is a drawing weapon against the world's best players: http://tinyurl.com/2bepbkz
Jun-19-11  hedgeh0g: Very cute tactical sequence by Black from moves 14-20 to secure the draw.
