Jan-12-08  rover: 17.bxc4?? dxe2!! 18.Rxd7 Rxd7 19...Rd1 wins
Jan-12-08  Per: Interesting that in two out of seven games in this opening round, White sacrifices his Queen for tvo Bishops!
Jan-12-08  Ezzy: Petrovs don't have to be dull. Nepomniachtchi is a big fan of Mikhail Tal. You can certainly see it in his play.
Aug-09-08  patzer2: I think White was setting up the sacrifice of the Queen as early as 21. g3, if not sooner.

After 24...Rh8, the queen Sacrifice is rather forced anyway. However, I'll give White credit for preparing it and also for playing well enough with the two Bishops and extra pawns to hold the draw.

Oct-25-11  whiteshark: <33...Re8!> would have been a serious attempt to win the game
