12.Bxc6! bxc6 13.O-O cxd4 14.Qd3 looks like a better way to avoid White's problems in the game.

Rybka thinks 16.Bxb7!+ Kxb7 17.Nc5+ is equal. After missing this chance White goes down in flames quickly.
