Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-24-09  birthtimes: Can't believe no one has commented on this game?! Nezh must have totally freaked out his opponent after deliberately putting both of his knights en prise to a pawn fork!!!
Sep-24-09  DrCurmudgeon: Maybe we were all too freaked out to comment.

tamar: Just put it down to a collective Nikitin fit.
Sep-24-09  birthtimes: Or freaky kitin shid...
Oct-30-09  luzhin: Pity Nikitin didn't grab the bait with 17...exd5. There might have followed: 18.Nxg7 Kxg7 19.exd5 Re8 20.g4! h6 21.Bxf6+ Kxf6 22.Qd4+ Kg5 23.f4+ Kh4 24.Qf2+ Kh3 25.Qg2+ Kh4 26.Kf2! Qxg4 27.Rh1+ and mate next move.
