  plang: It is interesting comparing the way White played against the Boleslavsky variation after the war with the modern day Sveshnikov - the knight on b3 just seems to be on an ineffective square. 11 Bc4 was a poor move as the bishop is vulnerable after ..Rc8. The pawn storm with 12 h4 and 13 g4 is not a promising plan against this Black setup and just creates a lot of weaknesses. Nice finish by Boleslavsky but White gave him a lot to work with.
