Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-23-10  birthtimes: Both players were probably in time trouble around move 35 or so because White should have played 36. Rxd2 instead of 36. g3 and Nezh should have played 35...Re1 instead of 35...f3.

If 35. Ne2 f3 36. gxf3 Qd5 37. Qc7 Bc6 38. Qb6 Ba4 39. b3 Bxb3 40. Rxd2 Qxd2 and Nezh continues the attack.

White also would have been better off by closing the center with 19. d5 or 19. Bg5 Bg7 20. Rc1 Qd7 21. d5 as Nezh was able to fight back and exert considerable influence on the all-important center files, beginning with 19...exd4.

White also should have played something like 29. b4 rather than 29. Qb3, or 30. Bc4 rather than 30. Qb6 as this allowed Nezh to gain the precious initiative he'd been waiting for...
