tpstar: The position by Move 10 can be reached through several different possibilities; Black chooses a small center (d6 & e6) with Be7 & Bd7, whereas White plays Be2 & Be3 followed by f4. 14. Nb3 threatened 15 a5 blockading Black's Queenside, thus 14 ... b6. White achieved a very nice Ne6 supported by the Pf5 but it wasn't enough.

tpstar-simplemoves (FICS 4/16/06): 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cd 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 a6 6. Be3 e6 7. Be2 Be7 8. 0-0 0-0 9. f4 Nc6 10. Kh1 Qc7 11. a4 b6!? 12. Nxc6 Qxc6 13. Bf3 Qc7?! (13 ... Bb7!?) 14. e5 1-0.

Oct-19-08  VaselineTopLove: Nice attacking game.
Oct-20-08  Chessdreamer: If <21...Bf8> instead of 21...b4, the position is identical with A Sokolov vs Ribli, 1985!
