Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-04-10  Hesam7: Kasparov mentions this game in his book "Revolution in the 70s" as a 'historic battle'. Here are his comments:

<after 11 Qe2?! Ra5! (threatening ...Ba6) 12 e5?! (12 Qc2) 12...Ba6 13 exf6 Bxb5 14 fxe7 Bxe7 15 Bxe7 Qxe7 16 Qxe7+ Kxe7 17 Bxb5 Rxb5 Black obtained a favourable endgame (weak d5-pawn!). The sharp 11 e5 (Zaitsev) or the simple 11 Bd3 was better, but, at any event, the popularity of this unusual variation went into decline.>

Aug-03-11  atarw: whats so wrong with the position? after 27.Rxd5 Rxd5 28. Rxd5, white's up a knight.
