Telemus: This is Whyld's no. 1091, and he wrote that it has been played in Bern (instead of 'Zuerich' above) in June 1919. Just found a newspaper with Bern and 28 May 1919.

  MissScarlett: Details, details...

Whyld's source, the <ACB>, 1919, p.249, states only that it was a consultation game, played 'recently', so he's responsible for the dating to June and the claim it was part of a simul.

Telemus: The newspaper found yesterday cannot be used as a source for some reasons. But now I have seen the game published by Lasker in the "Vossische Zeitung", 8 June 1919. Lasker noted that it was played in a simul in Bern, and that some players consulted as White. But Lasker didn't specify a date.

One week before, Lasker published already another game from a simul in Bern, see

Now that you're looking at the position, I'm sure you'll see what White should have played instead of 11.g3. (Pointed out by Hermann G. Voigt, American Chess Buletin, January 1920, p. 7.)
