Nov-29-07  Autoreparaturwerkbau: If 24...Nxh4?, then pretty 25.Nxh7#.

In this view white's knight moves from 22-24 were a part of very subtle attack.

Nov-30-08  Xeroxx: Really nice combonation at the end :__)
Nov-13-14  TheFocus: From a simul at the Manhattan Chess Club on September 16, 1893.

Lasker scored +13=3-3.

kingscrusher: 23.Nh5 turns out to be tactically shaky because of the (unexpected and subtle) power of Ne4 which supports things like g5. This would have been very dangerous for White. But it was just a Simul - and Lasker finds an amazing tactical resource in the game continuation.

Ne4 seems like a logical kind of move as a perk of the Isolated Queen's pawn but is only "convincing" when continued with g5 which Ng4 also supports.
