Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-13-07  Bridgeburner: Is this game complete? It is understandable disliking having to defend such a position, but for a master like Bernstein to resign a defensible position like this seems unlikely.
Nov-17-07  Karpova: <Bridgeburner>
The game score seems to be incomplete. Donaldson and Minev give in Volume 1: Uncrowned King: 26.Ke2 ... 1-0 (instead of 26.Ke2, 1-0) so it seems the game went on but it's not even known how many additional moves were played.
Nov-26-07  Bridgeburner: <Karpova>

I would very much have liked to have seen how Rubinstein won this endgame. Bernstein would have been a strong defender. It's a shame the score for the rest of the game was apparently lost, although it makes you wonder where the partial score came from.

Phony Benoni: The score is apparently incompletete. Bardelben's short book of games from the tournament comments on the final position. <"And white won with his extra pawn."> (Quoted in Gillams's book Ostend 1906, p. 364)
