Dec-05-05  AdrianP: Tasty!
Dec-05-05  aw1988: Of course, <23. Rg7> could have been played earlier.
Dec-05-05  EmperorAtahualpa: What does White do after 21...Kh6?
Dec-05-05  alexandrovm: great combination! Beautiful...
Dec-05-05  notsodeepthought: <EmperorAtahualpa> Probably 22 Qe2 (threatening Qh5). Still, 21 ... Kh6 might have been better than the game continuation. For example 22 Qe2 Q:g5 23 h:g5 and white should win, but it would still take some work.
Dec-06-05  EmperorAtahualpa: <notsodeepthought> Yes, you're probably right. After your line 22.Qe2 Qxg5 23.hxg5 Kxg5, White still has 6 pawns as opposed to 4 pawns for Black.
Dec-12-05  schnarre: Black plays the French, White wins (again). After 21...Kh6 I was looking at 22. g4 allowing Rh5+ if desired.
