<whiteshark> I suppose White could have waited for Black's move, but he probably didn't feel like looking at 52...f3+. Now 53.Kg3 Rg1+ 54.Kh4 Rg2 55.Rc1 Kf4 56.Rh1 f2 looks convincing, and 53.Kf2 Kf4 54.h6 Rh1 55.h7 Rxh2+ 56.Kg1 Rxc2 57.h8Q Rc1+ with mate to follow looks no better.
