Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-12-05  notyetagm: The pinning theme of the <exchange on the pinning square> does not get much simpler than 24 ... ♗xg2!. Black replaces the half-pinned g-pawn with a fully-pinned bishop (25 ♗xg2) and then piles the pressure on this pin (25 ... ♘h4). White resigns after 26 ♕f1 ♘xg2 since recapturing with the queen runs into yet another pin down the g-file (27 ♕xg2? ♖g4).
Jan-29-06  notyetagm: Textbook demolition of the g2(g7)-square.
Dec-08-07  aazqua: Just abysmal play by white. How many pointless minor piece moves were made in the opening? Six??
Feb-22-16  fispok: In a sense, they were useless in that they perpetuated the reigning in of white's bishops, but after 11...Ne5, the resulting awkward position of the kt, 16...Ne7 keeps his queen back, and the other moves are bad attempts to dodge out of pins until he runs out of luck.
