Nov-03-05  Reggie T: I was very proud of this win. It's not every day that you sacrifice boths rooks against an opponent near of 300 more rating points!

tpstar: <Reggie T> Hello! Welcome to the group! That's a brilliant win with an exciting conclusion. If you click on your name up top in blue, that takes you to your page with 2 more games. If you have other games as a master or against masters, you could always upload them into this database for later. See you around.

Richard Taylor: Good win with the classic sac of the rook but 16. ... Re8 isn't the best. But this is certainly a fighting position that I first saw in the Vidmar-Alekhine game. And earlier Rueben Fine won as Black. It is a fighting line for both players.

Richard Taylor: I should agree though, it is great to sac and win such a game!

Strangely the best move seems to be 16. ... Rb8 as then I suppose the R on c8 can get to e6 etc

According to my version of Komodo it is better for Black but still it is hard to play of course.
