Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-25-05  Gowe: This is a short and really exciting game. I could't understand the whole match. I didn't analize it pretty long, but still. If someone has some interest to give some moves over here. Be sure i would read it.
Jul-25-05  Montreal1666: There is a very recent similar game to this. There black played 14)...Nd5

K Haznedaroglu vs G Van der Stricht, 2004

Here I think the main reason for the draw is that Gelfand is a much stronger player.

Jul-25-05  midknightblue: I have been studying the Najdorf lately. I cannot tell you anything too much as I am still learning these lines. This is a well known variation of the opening. After 9....b5, white has 3 options, 10. Bd3, 10. e5 or 10. Bxf6. The book "experts vs the sicilian" recommends Bd3 here. At first glance, 10. Bxf6 followed by 11. e5 didnt look that great too me, because black develops his white squared bishop to b7 with tempo, chasing the Q off the diagonal. However, i guess it is a well known line, so presumably it is not too bad. OK, I need to look at this game a little more in depth. Let me know if you have any ideas about the opening. Thanks.
Dec-21-13  AlbertodaCruz: To all a Merry Christmas and that our dreams come true in 2014.
