Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-09-05  lopium: Maybe black thought he won because he may have thought that the white queen was trapped, it was true. But he lost! Rh1 to win.
Jul-06-09  backrank: 26. ♕g6!! Great finish by Darga. It would make a fine Wednesday (or so) puzzle. Black thought he would at least win a piece (26. ♕c7 ♖xd5). However, after 26. ♕g6 the bishop can't be taken (hxg6 loses due to mate on the h-file, of course) because of the continuation 26. ... ♖xd5 27. ♖h1 ♔g8 (only move) 28. ♖xh7! (much stronger than 28. ♕xh7+) ♖f7 (there is nothing better; g7 has to be protected and White threatened ♖eh1, which could be met by ♔f8 now) 29. ♖h8+!! ♔xh8 30. ♕xf7 and there is no way to meet the threat of ♖eh1#.

Rather a pity that Dueckstein resigned immediately after ♕g6!
