May-17-06  Autoreparaturwerkbau: The dubious 3...c5? sends black to the point of no return. The trouble is evident after 8.Qe2+. Swift play by white, anyways.
May-17-06  beenthere240: 14....Na6 wasn't the best way to stop the pin on the queen. 14....a5 or just moving the queen would have been better. but it was already ugly.

fm avari viraf: I think Black lost the battle in the opening itself & by move 18... a whole Rook down. It was just onesided punches.
Nov-02-09  Zumpawe: e4?!

What's the name of this opening?! What's the aim, the attack?!

May-05-13  Abdel Irada: <fm avari viraf: I think Black lost the battle in the opening itself & by move 18... a whole Rook down. It was just onesided punches.>

Agreed. It seems to me Black was significantly worse after 5. ...Bxc5. He might have tried 5. ...d4 (in the spirit of the Albin Countergambit) or the safer 5. ...dxe4.

Dec-17-23  whiteshark: <Zumpawe: e4?! <It's called the Diemer-Duhm-Gambit> >
