Mar-08-09  hedgeh0g: Loved the crazy desperado tactics in this game. Somewhat reminiscent of the absolutely hilarious: Bogoljubov vs Schmid, 1949.

Honza Cervenka: <whiteshark: Where did Black went wrong?> This is a good question. of course, he had several better alternatives to the moves he had chosen in the course of the game but the decisive mistake seems to be his decision to search his counter-chances in the Rook ending on the kingside. Instead of the series of checks by Rook, which only helped to activate white King, he should have played 30...a5 with intention 31.Rxc7 a4 32.b6 Rb3 33.c5 Ke6 34.Ra7 a3 35.b7 Kd5 36.Rxa3 Rxb7 37.Ra6 Rg7 and black should be able to hold the game.
