  Sneaky: Two of White's trumps in this opening is the plan of a3-b4 and a queenside pawn storm, as we see here, and the thematic e6 gambit. Indeed, 8.e6 is quite playable here, see Dzindzichashvili vs V Manievich, 1978.

Move order is so delicate and important in this defense. For example, the innocent looking 7...O-O-O got me smacked around in 17 moves, I posted the game on page #2 here Queen's Gambit Declined, Albin Counter Gambit (D08). I'm starting to think that if you just play ...Bh3 and ...Bxg2 as soon as possible, it's not so bad.
