Jan-18-05  cuendillar: 7.Nh3!, bringing the h-file attack too far away for Shredder to see, may well have been the winning move. Without that move, hxg5? wouldn't have been played any time soon. Everything after move 8 is forced, isn't it?
Feb-22-05  child of my tears: Nice work by Nemeth! Shredder got shredded! I've had a move like 7.Nh3! played on me before, opening the h-file after castling. The white pieces really gang up fast, and I got mated even faster.

WannaBe: Why is thie Queen's Gambit Declined?
Isn't Nimzo-Indian more correct?
Mar-23-05  hintza: <WannaBe> Not at all. The Nimzo-Indian is introduced by the moves 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.Nc3 Bb4. The opening in this game is indeed a Queen's Gambit Declined, but by transposition.
Jun-26-05  Dick Brain: This game looks so bogus. No way does Shredder play 8...Nfd7 with a 30 minue time control.
Aug-19-05  pffdddy6: i agree it does seem hard for it to be shreeder considern it the year 2000 chess progs were pretty good at that time
Nov-02-06  vesivialvy93: What !!!!!
Is this shredder or a radio shack dedicated chess computer ??
Nov-02-06  TrueFiendish: The human player is prosaic! More spectacular was: 12.Qh8!! Kxh8 13.Ng5+ Kg8 14.gxf7+ Kf8 15.Rh8+ Ng8 16.Rxg8#
Dec-10-06  WarmasterKron: <WannaBe> Nemzo-Indian, surely? ;)
Oct-09-08  DarthStapler: When the evil Shredder attacks, this Nemeth boy don't cut him no slack!
Aug-19-12  Everett: <Dick Brain: This game looks so bogus. No way does Shredder play 8...Nfd7 with a 30 minue time control.>

I think it was BLITZ, 30 seconds...
