  Pawn and Two: This game is from the Prague Olympics of 1931, where Kurt Richter finished 3rd on board 4, with a score of 10.5 - 4.5 (+7 =7 -1).

At move 14, Black had a difficult choice. Fritz indicates his best continuation was: (.70) (20 ply) 14...Bb7 15.g4 Nd7 16.gxh5 gxh5 17.Rhg1 f6 18.exf6 Nxf6 19.Qe5 Bd6 20.Qxe6 Qxe6 21.Nxe6.

After 14...b4?, Richter found the brilliant and winning 15.Rxd5!!

Instead of 15...Nd7, Black had other unsatisfactorly tries: 15...exd5 16.Nxd5 Qa7 17.Nf6+ Ke7 18.Bf3 Bf5 19.Qc4! Rf8 20.Bxa8; or 15...bxc3 16.Rxc5 cxb2+ 17.Kb1 0-0 18.Ne4 Kg7 19.Nd6!.; or 15...Bxf2 16.Nce4 exd5 17.Kf6+ Kf8 18.Nxd5 Bg3 19.Qxg3.
