 | | Phony Benoni: OK, I assume that "Green Eggs" refers to the Caro-Kann. I do not like the Caro-Kann,
I do not like it, not a fan.
I would not play it when online,
I would not play it with Fred Rhine.
I would not play it on the loose,
I would not play it with Doc Seuss.
I would not make a silly pun,
I would not play it, anyone!
I do not like the Caro-Kann:
Why can't we have a FIDE ban? |
|
Feb-26-13 | | Abdel Irada: Now, now, <Phony Benoni>. What's wrong with the Caro Mortuus? |
|
Feb-26-13 | | Abdel Irada: And, having looked over the game, I can now say that that Caro is very mortuus. |
|
Feb-26-13 | | morfishine: Not to be confused with the author of children's books, Dr. Theodor Seuss Geisel aka 'Dr. Suess', who no doubt, never achieved an Fide rating of 2300 The last word: I hope I never see a green egg |

Feb-26-13 | | David2009: <Phony Benoni: I do not like the Caro-Kann, I do not like it, not a fan...> Excellent! :) What is the difference between Baldrick and chessgames.com? |

Feb-26-13 | | nottogoodabeginner: to (Morfishine) green eggs are the healthiest of them all. |

 | | piltdown man: "Dr. SEUss", perhaps? |
|

 | | FSR: I have eaten green eggs and ham at the Green Eggs and Ham Cafe and Universal Studios Orlando. https://www.universalorlando.com/Re... Good stuff. I'd eat it again. |

 | | FSR: I prefer pushing the c-pawn two squares, but I like the Caro-Kann. I've only played it a handful of times, against strong opposition, but never lost. Trying to beat it, OTOH, is not a pleasant thing. And yes, <piltdown man>, the author's name (or pseudonym, to be precise), is Dr. Seuss, not Suess like this fellow. |

Feb-26-13 | | morfishine: <nottogoodabeginner> Is the shell green or are the eggs actually green? |
|
Feb-26-13 | | Abdel Irada: I hate to think of what would have to go into eggs and ham to make them bright green. Perhaps a relatively benign vegetable color of some kind could be found, but I can't imagine that it wouldn't alter the taste. |
|
Feb-26-13 | | Castleinthesky: Kudos to <Phony Benoni> and, unfortunately, Dr. Seuss has just lost his queen. |
|
Feb-26-13 | | kevin86: This game is what happens when you put (Heinz) Catsup on Green Eggs and Ham. Is this Dr. Seuss FOR REAL? |
|
Feb-26-13 | | kevin86: Is there a faster win after 35...♔g8 36 ♖g1+ ♔c8 37 ♕d6+ ♕d7 38 ♖g8+ wins the queen? |

 | | Sneaky: <Phony Benoni>
But would you play it in a house?
Would you play it against a mouse?
Would you play it in a box?
Would you play it against a fox?
Would you, could you, in a fix?
Play it! Play it! Pawn c6! |
