Dec-06-06  Total Blunder: Does the anotation meens it's a queen checkmate?
Dec-06-06  geraldo8187: i guess so, but can someone show me whats wrong with 18...Bf6. obviously, black is worse here, but does Bf6 at least make an attempt to hold?

  tpstar: Black's Queen is trapped no matter what. If 18 ... Bf6 then 19. Qb4 still pockets the Queen for 2 pieces: 19 ... cxd5 (19 ... c5?! 20. Qe4) 20. Bxd8 Rxd8 21. Bxd5 etc.
