Dec-14-04  dickweed: White's opening make me want to assume fetus-position and barf, everything is skewed and strange
Dec-14-04  Skylark: Ugh...
... there are no other words. Ugh.

samvega: I'd be very interested in IM Day's evaluation of this game.
Dec-15-04  DanielBryant: I haven't had the guts yet to use this online as a surprise.

IMlday: Most curious game. I don't like the inflexible 7..0-0 giving up KS pawn-storming possibilities. The middlegame is a heavy duty mess! Creative chess for sure.

samvega: Thanks. I thought thought the early KS castling might have been an error too. Also, 9..a5 inhibits b4, but gives a good square to white's knight, and the bishop ends up being impotent on that diagonal anyway . . .
Dec-21-04  Knight13: 2. g4! is the best way to play ever! (2... Qh4#)
Apr-01-05  GannonKnight: I only checked this line of moves to see whether anyone played the Fool's mate on April Fool's day.

If White's hand moves a couple inches further than he wants it on the second move, you've got the Fool's mate!

I have to try this online as a surprise. Might be fun!

Sep-06-06  dougrhess: It's the Hippo Opening! : )
Jul-03-08  Gameoverziggy: f3 then white must play kf2!
Aug-18-08  ravel5184: I though the Hippo opening was g3, e3, d3, b3, Bb2, Nd2, Ne2, Bg2!
