Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-19-04  fgh: And this is how a 2817 player crushes a 2081 player.
Oct-19-04  Ultra: He got caught with a fork after holding GK off that long!

What a shame, he should have got out of it with a draw after all that work.

Oct-24-04  Catfriend: Why not 20.♘f5+? Seems much more effective - 20..♔f8 21.♕:♘f6 g:♘f5 22.♘g5 and white's definitely better!

  tpstar: <Catfriend> Maybe after 20. Nf5+ Kf8 21. Qxf6 he didn't like the Zwischenzug 21 ... Qxb2+ leading to 22. Kd2 gxf5 and White's King is less safe. Notice here 22 ... c3+!? 23. Ke1 Qb5? loses to 24. Qg7+ Ke8 25. Nd6+. An interesting sideline.
Nov-10-04  Ernesto7: guys...GK was two pawns up(one of them passed) and had a rook on the 7th plus his knigth was killer....there was no draw there...
May-25-06  spirit: good game from a 2081 though
Nov-20-06  aazqua: How does Kasparov keep beating these players that are rated 700 points worse then him? That's like me beating someone ranked 1300! Hmm. I guess I could do that a few times.
Mar-17-08  smarterthanbobby: fgh lol, You know they say it can
take a year every 100 points after you get up there i.e 1900, let's say to 2000... 2000 to - 2100 etc...
so gary is 8 years more advanced I GUESS it's like him walking into a chess club and spanking the club bulley with a belt or something... it didn't look close... it looked
like a circus really...
