Dec-29-04  hjsukthankar: 36. Qd4 was a horrible blunder in a winning position; was Reshevsky in time trouble? I cannot fathom a grandmaster missing a move like Rd5.

  MoonlitKnight: Actually, Gligoric could have accepted the rook sacrifice, since after 31...gxh6 32.Rb7 Qc1+ 33.Nf1, he has the spectacular saving resource 33...Qxf1+!! 34.Kxf1 Ne3+ 35.Ke1 Ng2+! with a draw.
