Here, it's White's turn to move, there it was Black's, and Tarrasch lost anyway. No wonder poor Salwe couldn't hold!

  perfidious: <keypusher>, in the kibitzes to the game cited, a drawing method for Tarrasch is mentioned; one important principle in rook endings in which both sides have pawn weaknesses is that the activity of one's pieces is critical.

The ending in this game appears slightly different, but significantly better for White than Chigorin-Tarrasch, as the rook at a4 is poised to wreak havoc on the weaknesses that much more quickly, as seen in the game continuation.
