An Englishman: Good Morning: Sometimes I think Velimirovic will never tire of playing the Velimirovic.
Oct-16-06  ganstaman: He has quite a scary sounding name. And the aggressiveness he shows in some games only strengthens that image.
Oct-16-06  Confuse: impressive attack by white... very cool.
Oct-16-06  francescog: Hello. My favourite move is 32 Qb6, it seems that the rook is hanging and it will stay so until 35 ... Qxg2. If 33 ... Qxg2, then 34 Qxd6 would pin the rook and threaten mate.
Oct-16-06  Cro: <ganstaman> lol, Velimirovic translates in English "He who says peace".
Oct-16-06  rogl: If 33...Qxg2 or 34...Qxg2 white will play Bxb7 threatening Bc6 followed by Qb8#, and there's nothing sensible black can do to stop this.

Honza Cervenka: Games of these two ex-yugo GMs were usually sharp fight. It is worth to look at http://www.chessgames.com/perl/ches... and play through those games.
Oct-16-06  fxenderby: <Cro: <ganstaman> lol, Velimirovic translates in English "He who says peace".> And doesn't his first name contain also the idea of "love"?
Oct-16-06  Dres1: i got a better pun... Miso Horny!

  WannaBe: <YouRang> Here's that Miso pun... :-)
Oct-16-06  kevin86: A pretty hectic way to start a week. White will of course win very quickly after: 41...ke7 42 ♖e6#.

Both sides certainly got their blows in,but black lost on a knockout.

Oct-16-06  Whack8888: <Honza Cervenka> Thanks for the link, their games are interesting. Almost all the ones in this database are decisive.
