Jun-28-04  suenteus po 147: Topalov's most recent win against Kasparov in the database. Over six years ago. Does anybody think he has a shot at beating Garry after the WCCh?
Jun-28-04  acirce: Of course. He's been more convincing in Libya than Kasparov has been for a long time.

  Bobsterman3000: No shot.
Jun-28-04  themindset: psychologically, i think Topalov might have a tough time. not to mention that kasparov is determined to win, and i don't think much can stop that man when he's determined.
Mar-16-05  spirovskiyev: Kasparov was beaten by Topalov in Linares super tournament barely a week ago.

Sadly it was Kasparov's last professional game.

It is indeed saddening.

Nov-18-05  TigerPawns: guys, this was advanced chess, not chess
Nov-18-05  aw1988: Right, human + computer tandem.
Nov-18-05  Koster: Does that mean the human and computer alternated choosing the moves? sounds weird.
Nov-18-05  aw1988: No, the human chose the moves, the computer just helped.
Jul-26-08  randzo: in these times i think that computers werent so good
