Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-13-03  Helloween: Another Halloween Gambit game. Nice mating net set up after Black gets greedy.
Oct-13-03  ughaibu: A great mate.
Dec-29-05  error: Isn't 13…Bxd6 14.fxg6 Bg3+ 15.Kd1 hxg6 better for Black? Returns the piece, but gains more air and equals the position.
Mar-24-06  Fan of Leko: looks like junk opening...what if black plays 11...h5 and Nh6? I don't see any attack, at least nothing worth the piece.
Jan-21-09  Morphischer: Instead of 8.Ng8, wouldn't 8.Bb4 9.exf6 9.Qxf6 be better for black?

Phony Benoni: When the classic work "Bulgarian Idioms" is translated into English, next to the phrase <Too Little, Too Late> will be a diagram of 30...Bc5.

  offramp: Minchev goes postal.
Oct-31-15  morfishine: Svishtov is a city in Northern Bulgaria that was geographically significant during the Roman campaigns of the Late Antiquity, or about 1,400 years ago. It has a population of 35,000.

Check It Out: Not that anything was usual about this game, but 26.Bd8+ is an eye-catching move.

OhioChessFan: Pity. Black had just gotten a piece off the back rank with 30...Bc5, his development was really picking up, and just like that, game over.
Oct-31-15  Pinkerton: 22...Nc7 would have been my move.
Oct-31-15  Mating Net: <Not that anything was usual about this game, but 26.Bd8+ is an eye-catching move.> Definitely. It was time for the Black King to head south for the winter after this move.

kevin86: Black gets greedy and the king is chased away.
Oct-31-15  dark.horse: king picked clean.
Oct-31-15  Ferro: Street Fighter Attack: Blanka
Nov-08-15  Forrest Gimp: Wish I had seen this at least two weeks ago. The way the Queen and King are separately lured out to their doom makes me think 'Blair Minch Project' :)
