Jun-14-10  TheaN: Thanks to <goodevans> for pointing me to this game directly, the end is pretty nifty indeed. The wrongly placed Black King allows:

<12.Qxf8†! Bxf8 (Nxf8 13.Nxf7† Ke8 14.Nxc7‡ 1-0 which is a nice pattern on its own) 13.Nxf7† Ke8 14.Nxc7† Ke7 15.Bg5‡ 1-0> talk about domination. Although this is a bit more involved than usual this is a very nice Monday puzzle. It's too easy for Tuesday.

fredthebear: Black is in check in the final position and must capture the White queen, but checkmate is unavoidable:

If 12...NxQf8 13.Nxf7+ Ke8 14.Nxc7#.
If 12...BxQf8 13.Nxf7+ Ke8 14.Nxc7 Ke7 15.Bg5#.
