Dec-07-04  Knight13: Lovegren needs to learn the BIrd's Opening.

5. g4 is better. 6. Bxg5 looks interesting. Some big and small mistakes.

Jun-04-05  Kangaroo: Based on the other game between the same opponents, Lovegren needed to learn how to play chess - not only the Bird's opening!

FSR: This is a very weird game. 5...f5? is a bizarre novelty not played in any other game on the database (the book 5...g4 is played in all the other games). 6.h3?? is a horrific response. Why wouldn't White take the free (second) pawn with 6.Bxg5, with a won game?

Knighthawkmiller: 6. Bxg5 then follows the obvious:
+3.38 (22 ply) 6...Be7 7.Bf4 Bd6 8.e3 Qe7 9.Nc3 Nf6 10.Bg5 Nbd7 11.Bc4 h6
